The house and the sun
The house and the sun may be two important elements to interpret the emotional state of a child. The house
represents the reference point, the place from which the warm welcome or should arise, namely the mother.
When not in color, when windows are small and designed under the roof, when it is no door and no chimney, the interpretation varies according to age: if the child is between five and eight years, the meaning is of shyness and attachment to the mother after eight years may indicate isolation and feelings of inferiority.
According to some authors, the sun is the symbol of the ideal father. A brilliant sun, in its entirety, indicates a good relationship between father and son. A small arc of the sun is disappearing on the horizon as the sun disappears behind the mountains, means the opposite.
If the color is used too much of a red one would think that the father is feared. The depressed child
sad draws landscapes with trees without leaves, while in the sky the sun is covered by clouds.
